I would like to wish all of you a happy and blessed Easter.
Easter is a time of great celebration for the Church, when we mark the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a time of hope because we remember that through His triumph over death we too have been reborn.
As a Diocese, we have much to be hopeful for in the coming months and years. We warmly welcome our new London’s Archbishop, Vincent Nichols. My prayer is that he is able to continue the Church’s vital work in London and Hertfordshire, and am sure that this Diocese will continue to flourish in the years to come.
