Sunday, 25th January, is the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
In this Pauline Year, Archbishop Kevin, London’s Archdiocese of Southwark, has decreed that in Southwark a Plenary Indulgence may be obtained in every Church and Chapel in the Diocese by those who attend Mass or other Solemn Prayers in honour of Saint Paul on the Vigil and Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul, 24th and 25th January 2009, and fulfil the usual conditions: 1. Sacrament of Reconciliation, 2. receiving Holy Communion, 3. reciting a Creed and an Our Father and praying for the Holy Father’s intentions. The Plenary Indulgence may be applied to oneself or to a soul in Purgatory; it may be gained once a day.
