We are pleased to invite you to the lecture „Slovakia’s Foreign Policy – a quarter of a century after the Velvet Revolution“ by Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in London Mr Ľubomír Rehák, taking place on Thursday 3 December at 6.30pm, King’s College London’s Strand Campus.
The timing of lecture marks the anniversary of critical period in the history of Czechs and Slovaks, when in 1989 the infamous student protests became a focal point in democratic change of the country in. The ambassador will briefly sum up the main aspects and direction of Slovakia’s foreign policy. He will speak in detail about the outcomes of the Slovak diplomacy in 2015 and the nation’s expectations/prospects in 2016, including British-Slovak relations.
