Westminster Justice and PeaceThe Justice and Peace Commission Annual Day will be taking place on 25th October 2008 at St John Fisher Church in North Harrow, London.
Migrants and refugees are the subject of this year’s Justice and Peace Annual Day. 
Neil Jameson, director of London Citizens, will talk about grassroots organising of support for the poorest people in our communities, often working for low pay and without documentation. Jon Cruddas, a Catholic and MP for Barking and Dagenham will explain how ethnic minorities, including native English, are often pitted against each other in areas where resources are thinnest.  How can we reach out to those struggling in this rich capital?  Practical workshops will give opportunities for discussion and clarification.  Drama group, Ice-and-Fire, will bring home the issues in a stimulating way. 
This is the first time the annual day has taken place in North Harrow.  Migration in more ways than one!
