The Slovak Catholic Mission in London invites you to be part of the multinational and multicultural event entitled
“THE MISSION”

A day full of learning and sharing about how to be good missionaries in the world of today.
What is the main theme of the day?
- To explore what our mission is (in life, in our families, at work, in our communities)
- To explore how each of us can become missionaries in the world of today
What is the plan for the day?
Aims of the morning session:
- To look at the lives of missionaries, their work and legacy
- To think about what we can learn from them
Aims of the afternoon session:
- To think about what the word ‘mission’ means for us today
- To share practical examples of how to be on a mission today
- To discuss in groups how to be good missionaries in the world of today
At the end there will be a lively theatrical perfomance about our Slavic missionaries – Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius – entitled ‘Martyrs of the Word’. It should not be missed!
